Halfway to St. Paddy's Day freakin' rocked! The Young Dubliners were stellar, as always, and the crowd was fhantastic! I made sure to tell the owners of O'Gara's that the reason there was such a great crowd was because WCB have the best fans in town. The place was packed on a Wednesday and that's pretty cool. I hope everyone enjoys the little bonus CD that we put together. We really appreciate everyone's support over the years and this was our way of saying thanks. Cheers, Geno

It has been a crazy spring. Much going on: gigs, travel, traveling to gigs, having to put our van to sleep. Hopefully it'll all provide some song material. We're writing some new stuff! I'm excited to get working on a new album. We'd like to get another one out by Christmas. A more perfect gift than a WCB album, you ask? I haven't found it. Don't forget to check out my solo shows - the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Dubliner in St. Paul. Maple Syrup Night with Geno. I'll be playing all my Canadian favourites. Thanks to everyone who has been coming to these shows. Some of you are even getting hooked on all the Canadian content. I'm glad I can share a new side of music with all my friends who grew up under the thumb of American entertainment. ;) Cheers, Geno

Big, big day coming up! St. Patrick's Day. The day when all the amateurs come out of the wood work to drink green Coors Light. Oh, I'm excited. Pffftttt! But fear not. Salvation from the jerks will be provided by your favorite Irish superheroes, the Wild Colonial Bhoys! We've got two big shows with our full band. Sunday we'll be testing St. Paul to its limits in the tent at the Dubliner. Two solid hours of the Bhoys, so come prepared. Monday, St. Paddy's Day, we'll be stalking the stage at First Avenue - 8 pm. As any Minnesotan can tell you, First Ave. is one of THE premier club venues in the country. It's going to be very cool and we have a great show planned.... so don't miss out! Now, I can hear you asking, "only one show on St. Paddy's Day?!" But don't worry, Adam and I would, indeed, be bored to tears if that were the case. So if you're out west, check out our acoustic set at Jake O'Connor's in Excelsior from 1 - 4 pm. Also, we'll be following up our onslaught of Irish Rock with a fun set at O'Donovan's in Minneapolis - conveniently located right across the street from First Avenue (hint, hint). Plenty of WCB for all! Cheers, Geno

Ola Omaha! A new year brings a new venue. Tomorrow night will be our first crack at the Brazenhead Pub. It'll be a bit of an early night for us, too. 8-12. Always a fun change of pace. Hopefully we'll see some of our Dubliner regulars on this trip. I really hope it's not as cold in NE as it will be in MN this weekend. Lows around -20 deg. That's cold!! Come to the Brazenhead and warm up with a pint and a short pour. Cheers, Geno

It did not go unnoticed how nervous people get in Missouri when the weather turns sour. While driving conditions were not optimal, roads were easily navigated with a little care and attention. What surprised me the most was that so many church services were cancelled on Sunday. Crazy! Is freezing drizzle one of the signs of the Apocalypse? All that being said, we actually had a decent little crowd at O'Malley's on Saturday night. Some people left a little early because of the weather, but we were glad they made it out. I guess I'd better get going on this whole Christmas shopping thing. I'd better make a list of all the New Year's Resolutions I plan to break! It's nice to be naughty. ;)

Yikes! I guess it's been a looooong time since I checked in. I hope this finds everyone well. Things in the WCB camp have been motoring right along. I can't believe it'll be Thanksgiving in less than two weeks! Where did the year go?! I'll just be getting over the turkey hangover and it'll be Christmas. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana. If you get a chance, check out our interview in the Midwest Irish Focus. It's a monthly newspaper that fills in all the details re: Irish stuff in MN, IA, IL, MO, KS, and such and such. Thanks to the MIF for taking an interest. It's nice to see someone is paying attention. haha That's about it for now. Time to have an eye-opener and work on a few new song ideas. ;) Cheers, Geno

What a weekend! The Irish Fair of Minnesota was fantastic (as always). Thanks to everyone who came out to see us play with our full band. We had a great time performing on the big stage. I can't wait 'til next year so we can do it all again! The Young Dubliners, the Mahones, and Gaelic Storm were all great and we had a blast hanging out with them in the pub after the shows. Those crazy rock stars sure love to party! We've got much to live up to. ;) I guess now it's time to recover from the hot, crazy weekend! Cheers, Geno
